Earlier review memo — historical context
STATUS: HISTORICAL — use the current agenda for the next review. The foundations and browsing sittings are answered; the October decisions supersede their earlier requests below. This page preserves the September review method and evidence, not current instructions.
Earlier status: IN REVIEW · written 3 September 2026, revised 4 September after you ruled that seven stops should fold and two more come off the list · the pack is shorter and asks fewer questions, but no surviving question changed. This note is about how to answer it well and what it cannot yet tell you. Every claim here links to the page that carries the evidence.
The September answer order
Nine decisions settle most of the others; the hub lists them under if you only have twenty minutes. Answer them first: the mechanism (P-01), the family with no approved members (P-03), one label or several (P-08), the Groupings name (P-10), Offer / Promotion and the group holding it (N-09), the retail group and the display word (R-01, which settles R-02, R-06 and R-07 behind it), Event Film or Recap (X-03), Brand Film and Product Film (N-04), and the Documentation & Technical shelf with its one contested word (S-08 with L-04). After those, the rest go in page order. Whether you walk the classification page and the promotion list this round is now one line on the hub rather than three stops.
Decisions that are really one answer — five of them now are
You ruled on this on 4 September: fold them. Event Film and Recap are now one question (X-03), Offer and the group holding it are one (N-09), the retail group and the display word are one (R-01), Brand Film and Product Film are one (N-04), and the three scheduling calls are one line on the hub. Two pairs are still two stops, because each half can genuinely be answered on its own: P-05 with P-01, and S-08 with L-04.
What confirming costs nothing on
Two decisions change nothing whichever way you answer, because the ruling already exists or the name is already live: P-05 (the two parked family names close with the mechanism) and P-10 (the Groupings name is already the name). A one-line CONFIRM on each is enough. Product Film used to be a third; it now rides inside N-04 on the same reasoning as Brand Film.
What the pack cannot tell you yet
Two pages beside the pack show where the model stops today. Your five examples, traced walks IBM at the US Open, the McDonald's and Minecraft partnership, the model card on a launch tweet, a vendor's case-study page and the newsroom trigger through the model, step by step. The findings they share: nothing notices a campaign until a person runs a script; a company cannot be a media agency or a production company on a campaign, and a sponsor cannot be primary or secondary; credits are nearly empty and a cinematographer has never been credited; a newly minted company stays a bare name; one creative has no identity above its cuts; nothing separates supporting material from creative work except the shelf a label sits on. The relationship matrix shows every arrow the model draws, what carries it in the database, how many rows sit there, and what writes them — and marks the arrows nothing carries.
None of these is a decision on the pack. Each is engineering after the walk, and each is on the pipeline lane's list.
One question the pack does not ask — your call
Where does a model card stay out of the creative browse? Today the only thing that keeps it out is the shelf its label sits on: no rule looks at what a piece is about, there is no browse-by-kind, and the app's label list has no name for a system card. S-08 is the shelf and L-04 its one contested word; between them they are quietly making a routing decision nobody assigned them. Say whether that deserves a decision of its own or a note on those two.
Two challenges, now checked by hand
An outside pass tried to build the strongest case against each lean. Two challenges to P-03 carried real evidence. Both have now been re-run and re-read on the source rather than taken on trust.
The count on P-03 is rows, not works — but the lean survives. More than a third of the pieces under the social family are single slides of carousels and reels. Counted as one work each, the family holds about two thousand pieces rather than three and a half thousand. It is still the largest family either way, so "the biggest group" remains true; the number beside it is simply counting uploads, not finished work.
The second one genuinely argues with you, and it is the one to read before you answer P-03. A creator collaboration says who made a piece and on what terms, not what kind of piece it is. The large advertising taxonomy keeps that as a separate list of its own, beside the list of kinds. The social platforms attach a paid-partnership label to a post whatever kind of post it is. And your own ruled definition says a content type is the industry-recognizable kind of piece — "not where it ran, not why the campaign exists, not the craft that made it". Who made it sits in that same excluded class. If that reasoning holds for you, the honest answer to P-03 may be to name the meme format and let creator collaboration be a flag rather than a kind.
Five things you have said that cut against a lean
These are your own words, from your own dictations, and each one pulls against the take on the page it touches. They are here rather than buried on the pages because you should see them before you answer, not after.
- P-08 — earlier objection, clarified on 4 October. Several genuine whole-piece types with one leading are now approved. The earlier words were: "and secondary type idk what that is but i think thats wrong i mentioned the product demo bc like you could have a content type that is like a screen recording of a feature how its used"
- R-01 and R-04 — you named product pages as a retail kind. "Retail & PDP — Best Buy endcaps, PDPs, in-store displays, POP"
- N-04 — you wanted the word film dropped everywhere, not only on one name. "and again why film if this needs to work for more than just video right so should it jsut be "Launch" Campaign" like same in prodcut and feature you know"
- N-07 and N-04 — you asked for Product Launch as its own word. "on product and feature there is no Product Launch which would be different then "Product Film"… so should we replace anywhere that says "Film" with "Content" to keep safe?"
- L-05 and L-02 — you treated vlog and podcast as kinds a reviewer confirms. "it's a lot easier to check like, oh yeah, that got correctly classified as a vlog, as a interview, as a podcast, right? And so I can confirm that content type is good."
Each was found by mining every dictation and transcript you have left behind, and each was then opened at its line and read against the page it argues with.
The earlier twenty-minute instructions
Open the hub, take the nine in order, then say CONFIRM in one line on P-05 and P-10, then answer the two remaining pairs as pairs. Anything else you say that is not an answer line is feedback and gets banked the same turn. Everything you say is kept verbatim before it is processed.
