Experiential

Recorded vocabulary snapshot. This page is generated from a saved database extract, not a live connection. Rebuilding the site does not refresh its measurements. Draft wording comes from review notes; check recorded decisions for approved meaning. Stored values alone do not prove current prompt or filter behavior.

part of Video Production · recorded level: Craft · 0 pieces of work carry it · 2 entries in its comparison notes

The level names are Service → Discipline → Craft. This page uses the level recorded in the snapshot. Its definition and parent links still need individual review; the level name is not approval of either.

Recorded definition and use

The moving-image and production craft built around constructed experiences: installations, activations, immersive and staged pieces, projection and environmental work — where the experience is designed and built, and the video craft is what realises it.

Tag it when…

Tag when the commissioned craft is the making of a built experience or its moving-image component: immersive/installation content, projection and environmental media, staged experiential pieces where the constructed experience is the work.

Never tag it when…

Never tag a produced record of a real event that simply happened — that is Live Event Capture. The physical activation as a commercial offering belongs to the Physical Activations & Experiential service tier (L0, credit/offer tier), not this craft leaf. Judge the production craft, never the piece's format label.

Comparison notes for 2 other entries

These recorded notes compare this entry with related services, disciplines, crafts or other descriptions. Their wording remains subject to review.

• video production live event capture — Experiential BUILDS the constructed experience; Live Event Capture FILMS a real event that is happening anyway.
• svc physical experiential — The activation/installation as a sellable offering is the Physical Activations & Experiential service tier (never a classify target); this leaf is the video-production craft that realises it.

At what size it applies

Asset tag when the whole piece is experiential production. Moment tag when an installation/activation beat sits inside a piece that is otherwise another craft.
